EcoFair360 Volunteer Terms and Conditions
1.PERSONAL CONDUCT. Volunteers are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and according to the rules of this agreement. Any unruly conduct, refusal to follow rules, or use of foul language to EcoFair360 Exhibitors, Presenters, personnel or visitors to the fair will be considered grounds for expulsion from the event, and will severely jeopardize volunteering at future events.
2. EcoFair360 was created with a mission to promote respect for the environment and a spirit of community among all who attend. We expect that Volunteers will promote the mission of the fair at all times.
3. No pets are allowed anywhere on the fairgrounds or campgrounds.
4. EcoFair360 is a completely smoke free event.
5. EcoFair360 reserves the right to remove from the fairgrounds any Volunteer performing any act or practice which, in the opinion of EcoFair360, is illegal, objectionable,interferes with the performance of other exhibitors, volunteers, presenters, etc., creates a health, safety, or fire hazard, or violates any rules stated herein.
6. Any child under the age of 16 is required to have an adult supervisor on fair grounds at all times. The adult supervisor is responsible for the child’s actions at all times
7. Any child volunteer is required to sign in and out with their adult supervisor present. A phone number of the adult supervisor will be needed to contact the adult supervisor if the adult supervisor is needed for any reason.
8. If the child creates a disturbance, the child will have one chance to improve their behavior, if the disturbance continues the child will be asked to leave with their adult supervisor. If the disturbance is serious (i.e. theft, vandalism) the child will be asked to leave immediately.
9. There is no entry cost to you for volunteering at EcoFair360.
10. Every volunteer is required to do at least 3 hours of volunteering to receive entry to EcoFair360 on day of volunteering and a free volunteer t-shirt. Volunteers who do more than 2, full shifts receive free entry to all of EcoFair360, lunch provided on days of volunteering and a free t-shirt.
6.LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. (a) Volunteer shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless EcoFair360, Walworth County Agricultural Society, Inc., Event sponsors and the employees, representatives and agents of each from claims, liabilities, costs and charges (including attorneys’ fees and costs) for injury, loss or damage to property or persons (including death) arising out of Volunteer’s activities in connection with the EcoFair360, or any breach of representation, warranty or covenant in this contract. (b) EcoFair360, Event sponsors and the employees, representatives and agents of each shall not be liable for any claims, liabilities, costs and charges (including attorneys’ fees and costs) arising out of any injury, loss or damage to the person or property of Volunteer, except to the extent arising out of the sole negligence of EcoFair360 or Event sponsors.
RESOLUTION OF ISSUES
7. It is mutually understood and agreed that any changes to the terms of this contract are not valid unless they are made in writing and signed by both parties.
8. The decision of the representatives of EcoFair360, in their official capacities, must be accepted as final in any disagreement.
