Community Wind: Defining a New Standard

This workshop will broaden the discussion around the meaning of community energy in general and community wind in particular. We will discuss the characteristics of community wind, the process of developing community wind projects and will walk through an example of a current community wind project underway.
Mr. Yockey has worked as an energy analyst and consultant serving commercial, industrial, institutional and tribal clients since 1991. His specialization includes renewable generation, resource maximization, and energy markets. Prior to his work in the energy industry he had a broad academic background with graduate degrees in both the humanities and environmental sciences . Currently Mr. Yockey is executive director of Seventh Generation Energy Systems Inc. SGES is a non-profit engineering and development company specializing in wind and solar development and installation.
